Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the FitViking website, trainer portal, and client mobile app. FitViking is responsible for the processing described here. For privacy questions, email contact@fitvikingfitness.com.

• Account and profile: name, email address, protected credentials, and profile details you choose to provide, such as birth date, sex, height, and weight.
• Training and nutrition: trainer-client relationships, invitations, routines, diets, goals, exercise and food logs, calories, measurements, activity, steps, adherence, and progress.
• Service content: plans, notes, and information trainers and clients submit to use FitViking.
• Technical and security data: session, device, and request information needed to authenticate users, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and secure the service.

The camera is used only when you choose to scan a food barcode. FitViking uses the barcode identifier to retrieve nutrition information and does not retain the camera image.

• Create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and provide requested features.
• Allow trainers to assign plans and review the adherence and progress of linked clients.
• Show clients their workouts, nutrition, activity, goals, and progress.
• Send invitations, access-recovery messages, and other operational communications.
• Protect, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve FitViking.

FitViking gives trainers an assistant that creates draft workout and nutrition plans. When a trainer uses it, information the trainer chooses to include may be processed by a contracted AI provider to generate the draft. The assistant does not replace professional judgment: the trainer reviews, edits, and approves a plan before assigning it.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We may share only the information necessary with:

• Your linked trainer or clients, based on role and service functionality.
• Providers that support hosting and infrastructure, transactional email, nutrition data, and artificial intelligence.
• Authorities or other parties when necessary to comply with law, protect rights, or investigate fraud and security risks.

These providers may process information only to supply their services to FitViking and under their applicable obligations.

We keep information while an account is active or as needed to operate and protect the service. A client can permanently delete an account in Profile → Delete account. Deletion revokes access and removes account data from active systems, including the trainer relationship.

Residual copies may temporarily remain in isolated backups or security logs until rotation, or where retention is required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. You can also request help by emailing contact@fitvikingfitness.com from the address associated with your account.

You can review and correct profile information in the service, delete your account in the app, and request access, correction, or further information through contact@fitvikingfitness.com. We will verify your identity before handling requests involving personal data.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, although no system can guarantee absolute security. FitViking is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we received information from a child under 13, contact us so we can review and delete it.

FitViking and its providers may process information in countries other than yours. We take reasonable measures to maintain appropriate protections for that processing.
